DHMS Civils Ltd have completed a Coastal Repair Project in the North West.
The concrete beam defence wall was in poor condition and as such we installed approximately 72m of new concrete wall to support the ground beam.
In addition two scour holes had appeared in the sloping foreshore causing the pitching stones to become loose and subsequently the ground had been washed away by the tide.
We cleaned out the scour holes, repaired the them and relaid the existing pitching stones.
Having faced access issues getting onto the beach and dealing with ever changing tide times we’re delighted and proud of our team for successfully delivering the project.
